The remaining milestones, targeted by the record chasers, are the only things left for a team that has accomplished all there is.

The fact it required until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase above 300, regaining their record for the biggest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a compliment to the pitchers that have represented Australia over five decades.

She got to fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at the World Cup - and her ton in 84 deliveries while she punished short deliveries, striking 21 boundaries and three big hits.

By the time she was out her side needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - an achievable target now needing a comfortable finish.

"To chase 330 is new territory so I'm pleased we have the belief to do that now," continued Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, should it happen, we are confident we can achieve it."

These statements will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this World Cup should hear.

During the last week a belief they will win from any position has become more firm - this triumph following success over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite being 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against longtime competitors England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final berth may likely be confirmed.

During that phase they left last year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - an encounter Healy couldn't play because of damaged tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the first time at an important competition.

So great is her will, she afterwards commented she wanted to have participated with the discomfort.

Yet even as she later admitted those fitness problems have pushed back thoughts of retirement, this tournament is likely to be her last as captain in one-day cricket and she is yet to win a global event as captain.

Victory in India would bring her to the top of her ultimate challenge.
